This evocative piece of art started as a Zucca gourd and morphed into an frosty Alpine morning.  It almost feels cold to the touch.  Development included extensive cutting and the use of pyrography, resins, acrylics, dyes and semi-gloss polyurethane.  The cast base is inscribed with the piece name and the artist's signature.  Includes vase stand.

This piece measures  5.5" wide and is 15" tall.
