This gourd just had a regal feeling to me.  So I  transformed this canteen gourd into this crown-like creation, using detailed cutting, pyrography, extensive use of inlaid and appliquéd glass bead, leather dye, resins and polyurethane.  The interior has a distinctive asymmetrical design. 

This piece measures 7" high with a 27" circumference.
