This graceful oval gourd invited the delicate rain drop cuttings that swirl around the top.  I used pyrography followed by detailed cutting.  The colors were created using leather dye, resins and marker.  The gourd is weighted (for stability) with dental plaster.

This piece measures  12" high with a 13' circumference.
