This award winner began as a "Summer King" hard shelled gourd.  I cut it into numerous sections, gave each section its own unique character, then reassembled the pieces with a degree of asymmetry.  The production involved cutting and pyrography.  I used leather dyes, resins, acrylics and glass beads.  The cast base is inscribed with the piece name and artist signature.  Includes vase stand.

This piece measures  10" high with a 22" circumference.
